It is clear that written communication and manufactured clothing are among the cornerstones of human society, and just two of the many developments that set us apart from the other intelligent life we share this planet with. The earliest evidence of communication via symbolic imagery originates from over 35 millennia ago, around the same time the first textiles were known to have been created. Since then, we can clearly trace the parallel development of writing and clothing.
